Qualify meeting the requirements of a Federal Medical Card and the fit for duty standards. Be able to operate all facets of tractor / trailer combination equipment in a satisfactory and safe manner. Possess strong communication abilities to interface with customers and the public representing the company in a positive and professional manner. Accurately & legibly complete all required paperwork associated with the delivery of freight. Maintain a daily record of duty status in accordance with federal, state & company requirements. Skills Required:Ability to lift 50lbs or more.Ability to repeatedly bend at the waist/neck, twist & rotate hands, wrists, shoulders, elbows and forearms. Ability to appraise, evaluate & adequately respond to environmental strain/emotional stress.Ability to withstand abrupt hour changes, irregular work/rest cycles, noise/vibration, temperature/weather extremes, irregular meals, and delays. Available for flexible start/finish time to accommodate customer requests.Be able to climb in and out of tractor & trailer Prerequisites:Possess & maintain a valid Class "A" CDL Commercial Driver License for at least 2 years.Possess satisfactory, verifiable experience and/or appropriate training in Interstate Commercial Class "A" Vehicle Operation & the transportation of freight.
