Leadership Physician Position! Associate Chief of Staff of Geriatrics and Rehab/Extended Care at The Hudson Valley HCS VA in New York. Salary Range from $250,000-$300,000 This amount does not include any incentives, EDRP or Performance Pay. The Associate Chief of Staff -Geriatrics and Rehab/Extended Care is an executive leadership position that oversees the department. The ACOS is responsible for overseeing the planning, developing, coordinating, directing, and evaluating the Rehab and Extended Care services for VA Hudson Valley. Rehab and Extended Care consist of Geriatrics, Physical Medicine and rehab, Audiology, Whole Health, Community Living Centers, HBPC, Palliative Care, and Administrative Medicine and Therapy depts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: critical onsite presence for daily operations, credentialing and privileging of providers, monitoring key clinical metrics, and formulating action plans as needed to ensure the achievement of clinical, research, and educational goals. The programs serve both inpatient residential and Outpatient. The focus is on providing comprehensive healthcare, improving access to care, ensuring quality of care, and promoting positive outcomes for our Veterans.VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. VHA Physician Total Rewards. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.
