Journeyman Plumber

TITLE: JOURNEYMAN PLUMBERREPORTS TO: PROJECT SUPERINTENDENTJOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:This position is synonymous with a Journeyman or Master Plumber position in the trades. Musthave current and valid Journeyman or Master Plumbing License registered with TSBPE. Thisposition has 3 or more years of experience and is considered to have mastery knowledgecommercial plumbing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assists with daily guidance, training, and direction to the plumbing crew.Assembles, installs and repairs plumbing systems according to project specifications and appropriatetrade and building codes. These systems may consist of pipes, fittings, fixtures and boilers for hydronicheating, water, drainage systems, and medgas.Adheres to project safety and job quality.Maintains a professional demeanor with field team, general contractors, owners/customers, and vendorsto support a positive work environment.Makes decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solveproblems.Required Skills:Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, andmanuals.Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Also requires frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confinedspaces, and safely climb ladders.Must have all tools needed to be successful within this roleMust be punctual with good a good attendance recordSome overtime may be requiredTHIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION. Pay Range: $35 - $65 per hour
