We are seeking an experienced compliance professional who will be a #2 to the Chief Compliance Officer with (i) direct responsibility for reviewing and approving a wide range of sales and marketing materials to ensure alignment with industry regulations and company standards and (ii) responsibility to supervise additional compliance matters as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer. This role requires a senior expert with broad experience in financial services compliance, ideally with a background in annuities. This is a hybrid role in our Denver Colorado office. Responsibilities: Review and approve all sales and marketing, including white papers, infographics, webinars, presentations, blog posts, SEO articles, and social media posts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Serve as the compliance lead and supervisor in the development and updating of marketing and sales content, providing guidance on compliance issues and risk management. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to develop content that meets regulatory standards while supporting business objectives. Monitor changes in regulations that affect sales and marketing activities and update compliance policies and procedures as necessary. Provide supervisor training and support to marketing and sales teams on compliance-related matters, enhancing their understanding of regulatory requirements. Participate as a senior leader in strategic planning with the Compliance and Marketing teams to ensure a proactive approach to compliance in content creation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Law, Finance Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or compliance certifications preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance roles within the financial services industry, with direct experience in reviewing and approving marketing materials. Thorough understanding of the regulatory environment for financial services, with specific knowledge of annuities regulation highly advantageous. Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision and excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization. Competitive compensation and benefits package. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $155k - $165k annually.+ year end discretionary bonus.. Discretionary annual bonuses, when paid, are based principally on the evaluations of job performance by those to whom you report. Year-end bonus amounts are subject to change based on individual and company performance although there is no guaranteed minimum amount for the year-end discretionary bonus.
