POSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for developing and maintaining project plan, execution of all phases of a project, facilitate regular status meeting for a project team, and help with defining technical specifications of all facility expansion projects. SALARY: $48,900-$61,100 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Create project timelines; manage resources for each assigned project to ensure that the project remains on schedule Maintain creative, production, and technical goals set forth by project teams and clients; manage overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates can be clearly communicated to all the stakeholders; capture, record, and distribute meeting notes and ensure action items are completed promptly MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Create project timelines; manage resources for each assigned project to ensure that the project remains on schedule Maintain creative, production, and technical goals set forth by project teams and clients; manage overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates can be clearly communicated to all the stakeholders; capture, record, and distribute meeting notes and ensure action items are completed promptly Ensure solutions to technical problems through discussion with technical teams to resolve problems; work in tandem with facilities staff and program directors around new projects Identify, procure and manage outside vendors that are best suited for assigned projects, when required; manage all deliverables with any required external vendors Manage resources for each assigned project to ensure that the project remains on schedule Develop contractor and vendor relationships to maintain a cost competitive environment while adhering to service level expectations; maintain partnerships while insuring compliance with current organizational purchasing and service contract requirements; ensure contractor compliance with agreements; address contractor discrepancies or concerns Organize vendors around renovations needs of the organization; work with Facilities Manager and staff to determine office space assignments Work with Facilities Manager and IT team to coordinate staff movement between various facilities Support business continuity by incorporating emergency preparedness planning (as specified by Compliance Officer) in facilities design and space planning Provide periodic reporting on projects status to Director of Facilities and Special Projects EDUCATION/LICENSURE:Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent educational and on the job experience PMP Certification preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Qualifications: Strong project management skills are required. Ability to successfully manage contractors is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Healthcare business acumen required. Must have sensitivity to, interest in and competence in cultural differences, HIV/AIDS, minority health, sexual practices, and a demonstrated competence in working with persons of color, and gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender community. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project and other computer applications required. Must have reliable transportation and valid Ohio driver's license OTHER INFORMATION: Background and reference checks will be conducted.
