Description Seeking responsible, motivated individuals to join our Meat Cutting Team! Cantoro Meat Department is a high volume upscale specialty market. Our culture is rooted deeply in customer service, quality products and providing an exceptional shopping experience to all of our guests. 1 year cutting experience or apprenticeship preferred. Candidate must be reliable, have good communication skills and demonstrate a high degree of drive and determination. Competitive pay depending on experience - pay rate can be negotiated at interview. Responsibilities Cut a variety of meats. Maintain a clean and sanitary work station Must keep meat case presentation impeccable. Learn the proper way of rotating stock. Maintaining a well-stocked work area. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Requirements Previous meatcutting/related apprenticeship preferred. Knowledge of food preparation, storage/handling. Be able to work in all work environments. Be able to work 40-45 hours/week. Have open availability. Stand on feet for 8 hours, lifting and bending Be able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency Requires ability to lift 30-70 pounds frequently.
