The theatre is open 365 days a year with holidays being some of our busiest times. While we work with everyone to make sure they have time with their families, we also must make sure the theatre is staffed. RESPONSIBILITIES •Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcome. •Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward guests at all times. •Responding promptly to guest requests. •Staying current on new releases and upcoming movies. •Work Point of Sale station for ticket and concession sales. •Be knowledgeable of the items offered by the theatre, including prices. •Communicating and coordinating as a team with your fellow colleagues. •Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional guest support. •Able to lead and be in charge in the absence of management. •Cleaning, including clean and tidy workstation, concession and box office areas at all times; clean auditoriums, restrooms and any areas as directed by theatre management - including sweep/mop floors, pick up and empty trash in and around the building. •Obtain a Health Department Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of hire if required by individual state law or the local Health Department. •Completing any other duties as delegated or directed by your supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS •Must be 18 years of age at the time of hire. •Must have the availability to open and/or close regularly. •Great customer service. •Possess a positive attitude. •The ability to run company errands and provide current vehicle insurance a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical demands include but are not limited to: •The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch. Reasonable accommodations will be made for disabilities, short term or permanent. •Must be able to move and transport up to 35 lbs.
