Provide quality meal preparation, service and delivery Process and prepare food according to each individuals dietary guidelinesPerform a variety of routine kitchen dutiesOperate kitchen equipmentDishwashingGeneral cleaningAdhere to federal, state, and local guidelines for safe and sanitary food handling, preparation, service and storageServe as a positive role modelTeam-player who can also work independentlyMaintain attendance according to the policy of the agency and position Schedule: Day Shift 6:45am - 3:15pmRequired to work every other weekendDeSoto Qualifications: Experience with modified diets preferred (puree, ground, bite-size) High School diploma or GEDInterpersonal communication skillsAbility to follow oral and written directions and problem solveAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to be flexible to provide the needs of the individuals servedGeneral supervision will be provided by the Dietary Supervisor, but the employee must have the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
