Journeyman Electrician

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician/ForemanJob DescriptionAs a General Foreman, you will meet with superintendents and other foremen every morning before everyone else shows up. You will assist in allocating people and resources on a daily basis. Additionally, you will assist in training employees, doing daily JSA/JHA logs, helping track attendance, and ordering materials.Main Responsibilities:- Allocation of people and resources- Overseeing installation of the solar process - start to finish (Driving Piles, Nextracker/Novados Installs, Panel installs)- Ordering materials and coordinating delivery details- Material inventory- Overseeing all subcontractors working on site, dealing with daily issues- Day-to-day basicsWorking Monday-Saturday. Mon-Thurs: 7:00am - 5:30pm. Fri & Sat: 7:00am - 3:30pm.- Weekly Overtime- Weekly Pay- Per diem offeredHelp with safety planning and ensure everyone is properly trained before getting on site.Hard Skills+ Foreman Experience+ Electrical Leadership+ Material ordering+ Blueprint reading+ Contractor allocation+ Resource allocation+ Daily meetingsJob TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Albion, Michigan.Work EnvironmentOnsite at project locations where the solar system is being installed. Outside construction environment - you will work in most weather conditions (excluding lightning and heavy snow). There is a clubhouse on site where you meet daily and there are a few offices.
