What You'll Get to Do The Project Manager is focused on initiate line of communication with customer at onset of project and reports to the Director of Project Management. This role is perfect for an individual who is organized, leader, and has customer management skills. A vital member of the Project Management Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include: Develop and maintain schedule of deliverables based on project schedule needs, then relaying this information into a rolling forecast to accurately project billings. Ensure scope of project is consistent with quote and project design needs. Coordinate the shop drawing process and the engineering process. Understand the roles of, facilitate support from, and coordinate with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, fabrication, shipping, and credit to accommodate the needs of assigned projects. Resolve application issues, field issues, and general technical issues promptly. What We Are Looking ForFive (5)+ years project management or estimating experience in the curtain wall industry, metal, or glass. Must have an understanding of the glazing industry and products, including both design and application; knowledge of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope's® products is preferred. Must be capable of reading architectural drawings, structural drawings, and project specifications. Must have excellent skills in the following areas: documentation, organization, communication, and problem-solving.
