Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic project plans in alignment with organizational objectives and priorities. Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function, leveraging best practices, methodologies, and tools. Serve as a key liaison between project stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and driving alignment. Monitor project performance and key metrics, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. Provide executive-level reporting and presentations on project status, risks, and recommendations, and advocate for resource allocation and prioritization. Lead organizational change management efforts related to project initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and integration of new processes, systems, and technologies. Other Duties: Facilitate project meetings and workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders. Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of project management best practices, methodologies, and tools. Partner with senior leadership to define project priorities, allocate resources, and manage project portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and organizational goals. Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization, driving positive change and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Mentor and coach junior project managers and project team members, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities. Represent the organization externally as a subject matter expert in project management, participating in industry events, conferences, and forums, and contributing to thought leadership initiatives. Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities: Must have ability to travel up to 30% Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive results, and navigate complex challenges. Excellent (verbal and written) communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and influencing skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices in project management and related fields. Strong strategic thinking, decision-making and risk management capabilities, with a focus on driving results and delivering value. Excellent time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with a focus on driving innovation and delivering value. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in project management, business administration, or related field required; Masters degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading large-scale, strategic projects. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required; Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification preferred. Compensation: Base range of $102 - 129k, DOE with bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits.
