Performing these duties with care and professionalism will create a positive impression with the customer. During the 17-Point Oil Change, the Courtesy Technician's duties and responsibilities include:Greet customers and place seat covers in the vehicleDrive vehicle into bay, prepare vehicle for service - open hood, roll up windows, unlock doors, remove keysPerform Tech Talk servicePrepare service documents and prepare and affix static stickersPerform courtesy cleaning: vacuum interior, wash exterior windows, clean headlamps and wash mirrorsVisually inspect wiper bladesCheck and adjust tire pressure if necessaryReset oil indicator light, if applicableStart vehicle and check oil pressure drive vehicle out of bay and present to customerThank customer for their business and invite them to return in 90 daysOther Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows and clearing litter. Crew members must attend crew meetings as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor.Job QualificationsCustomer service skillsBasic literacy (ready, writing, math skills)Ability and licensed to operate motor vehiclesVerbal communication skillsAbility to properly use mechanical hand toolsAttention to detailNo previous experience or training requiredValid state driver's license requiredWorking ConditionsMaterials and Equipment used: Automotive oils, fluids, and lubricants.
