Compensation Range: Flat rate: $16 per hour. Not available in AR. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes. Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards. Maintain food safety and sanitation guidelines and keep the kitchen clean and organized. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies. Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing excellent customer service. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred. Capability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions accurately. Positive attitude and effective communication skills to interact with residents and staff. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies. Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. Must be suitable to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously. Ability to work around food and cleaning products. Completion of an approved sanitation and safety course may be required. Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on State/County law. Residency within the service area is a must. Ready to Join Us?
