Job Description Business Development Rep - Cabinetry & Millwork We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Rep to join our growing team, specializing in high-end commercial millwork and cabinetry projects. This role focuses on building relationships with architects, designers, general contractors, and high-end residential builders, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong background in millwork or cabinetry sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects from initial contact through final installation. Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Rep: Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and developers to promote and sell high-end millwork and cabinetry solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality markets. Conduct cold calls, site visits, and client meetings to present product offerings and assess customer needs. Prepare and present proposals, bids, and pricing based on project specifications and customer requirements. Work closely with the design, estimating, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution. Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining strong profit margins. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging materials to provide expert guidance to clients. Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry gatherings to increase brand visibility. Requirements of the Business Development Rep: 3+ years of Biz Dev and Sales experience in Cabinetry and Millwork Established relationships with builders, designers, architects, and general contractors in the market is a plus. Strong understanding of commercial millwork and cabinetry materials, fabrication, and installation processes. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a commission-driven environment. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and architectural drawings. Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and estimating tools is a plus.
