Job Title: Planner SchedulerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized Planner Scheduler to manage detailed scheduling tasks within the construction and defense sectors. This role requires someone who can handle the complexity of government work, ensuring all projects are completed efficiently and on time.Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and estimate project timelines and resources. Handle all scheduling details independently to ensure projects stay on track. Utilize Microsoft Project and Primavera version 6 for scheduling tasks. Work with Department of Defense (DoD), manufacturing, and aerospace standards and software. Manage a heavy workload with tight schedules, including potential weekend work during peak times. Understand and implement government contracting requirements. Essential Skills Experience in project scheduling and estimation. Government contracting experience, particularly with the DoD. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project. Experience with Oracle Primavera. Knowledge of Navy ship operations, maintenance, and repair. Effective writing and editing skills. Understanding of standard planning and scheduling methodologies and tools. Thorough knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS). US Citizenship and the ability to acquire a DBIDS. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in the shipyard industry is a plus. Ability to attain credentials and access customer facilities. Work EnvironmentWorking hours are from 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday. The position is based in a bay front location, offering a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The role involves both office work and occasional visits to the shipyard.
