LDX Solutions is currently in search of a Project Manager to join our team in creating a cleaner environment for a better tomorrow! Position Location: Kennesaw, GA. Reports to: Executive Vice President of APC Operations Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall project performance and profitability, while maintaining and managing client relationships. To use effective management skills to drive the project team in the design, fabrication, and delivery of various air pollution control projects. Provide status reporting regarding project financials, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to project teams. Roles & Responsibilities: Overall project responsibility for large complex Capital Air Pollution Control Projects; Projects will range from equipment supply to full EPC project responsibility. Manage and lead multi-discipline project teams with team members from Engineering, Fabrication and Installation, as well as support staff, i.e. Procurement and Accounting. Drive internal project workflow to keep team members informed of project needs, identify customer changes, and maintain timely deliverables. Prepare and track Project Plan and Schedule, including short- and long-term targets to ensure compliance with contract requirements and customer expectations; lead the team through resolution of any contract discrepancies that may be discovered. Ensure contract requirements and project scope of work are understood by all team members and identify and assign clear roles and responsibilities to team members. Overall responsibility for project budget and keeping management informed of any variances; work with purchasing to improve project budget. Work with project accounting to prepare monthly commercial project progress updates and cash flow projections, as well as earned value and revenue recognition updates. Serve as the main point of customer contact for all correspondence and contract matters. Manage and record all project changes, both internal and customer driven, and ensure that change orders and other contract relevant correspondences are issued to the customer in accordance with the contract requirements. Successfully lead projects through all phases of its lifecycle, including construction, start-up, and commissioning. Successfully integrate risk awareness and strategies in daily workflows. QualificationsSkills & Abilities: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Ability to create positive, mutually beneficial business relationships with customers, operations, sales, and other functional areas. Focused and efficient with time management and meeting deadlines. Strong interpersonal, conflict-resolution, oral and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with advanced organizational, planning, and documentation skills. Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects in various stages simultaneously. Qualifications: BS in Engineering Minimum 3 years' experience working in a heavy industrial field Prior experience in leadership role preferred Experience working in similar industry strongly preferred SAP, CAD, MS Projects or knowledge of similar platforms a plus. Travel Requirements: up to 30% Occasional travel to attend meetings, participate in sales efforts, perform studies/audits, start-ups, commissioning, and troubleshooting support.
