Logistics and Shipping Associate

Job Summary: We are looking for a Logistics and Shipping Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in a fast-paced start-up environment. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining cost efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a dynamic setting and can build logistics processes from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: Shipping & Delivery Coordination: Manage domestic and international shipments, ensuring on-time deliveries and cost-effective transportation solutions. Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels and optimize storage solutions to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement logistics strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce lead times. Process Development: Create and refine shipping, receiving, and inventory management workflows suited to a start-ups evolving needs. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies. Cost Control & Budgeting: Track logistics expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage the logistics budget. Problem-Solving & Crisis Management: Address shipping delays, inventory shortages, and other logistical challenges proactively. Qualifications & Skills: 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management, preferably in a start-up or fast-growing environment. Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and logistics software. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work under pressure. Experience with inventory management systems and Shipstation is a plus. Hands-on problem solver with a proactive mindset.
