GENERAL DISCRIPTION Responsible for the design of complex supply chain solutions by using a combination of industry experience and leading logistics software offered by third parties. Provides mentorship to other engineers & analyst. Interacts with senior management internally and externally. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSIdentifies process gaps. Recommends and implements process improvement. Meets with clients regularly. Must have excellent presentation skills. Establishes baselines and implements performance measures. Use advance analytics to understand the business & drive continuous improvement Actively supports the sales process. Effectively interacts with clients, Sales, and Operations to create value propositions. Liaison between functional groups - Operations, Sales, Clients, and other Engineers. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree preferred in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain or equivalent MBA and/or Industrial Engineering favored Minimum of four years of related experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSJob may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESTechnical aptitude: Microsoft Office, Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Visio, Transportation Analysis Tools, Network analysis tools, Simulation and Inventory tools, Data visualization including Tableau, Spotfire and PowerBI CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSESLean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred WHY SHOULD YOU WORK FOR CRANE?
