Automotive/Truck Technician | Independent Truck Upfitters | Roseville, MI Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $17.00 - 22.00 What you'll do: The UpfitTechnician is responsible for the consistent and quality upfit installations oftruck accessories and service repairs on various truck bodies. Complete consistent and quality installs oftruck & automotive accessories Including but not limited to lift gates,shelving units, tool boxes, body components and lighting systems Complete custom service repairs on commercialvehicles and flatbeds service repairs on truck bodies Document the cause and corrections for all repairs Welding and fabricating of custom mounting brackets Read and follow detailed work orders,installation drawings, blueprints, etc. What you need to be successful: HS Diploma or GED required Experience in an auto body or service shop environment preferred Experienced with vehicle mechanics, includingelectrical systems, hydraulics and basic fabrication techniques PTO experience a plus #TSG123 Why The Shyft Group?
