Position Summary Responsible for defining a business plan to grow sales in the molding industry. Develops and implements a sales strategy for growing sales through identification of customer's needs and then delivers sales solutions plan to the organization. Define product gaps, make key contacts, and lead efforts in getting written into standards. Must have technical skills, strong analytics and executive presence. Has ownership and responsibility for developing and implementing an aggressive growth strategy for a molding business unit. Principal Responsibilities Develops growth plans for sales and profits by identifying new prospects and building pipeline of qualified accounts Utilizes the latest trending technology to support the decision-making process Develops deep understanding of industry to stay ahead of industry trends and movements Understands how to get products/services specified into customer's tooling standards Comfortable in the "C-suite" Works closely with leadership team to define resources needed to support growth plan Collaborates with marketing to insure branding and go-to-market strategy are appropriate Analyzes and defines product gaps to properly support the market Builds a team to support the business unit's growth Defines services and value proposition to customer and customer groups Identifies and builds excellent relationships with key decision makers/executives within target customer account organizations Qualifies, probes and uncovers opportunities to deliver value to customers Defines a plan to get written into standards of key customers Develops effective customer needs analyses Develops, presents and delivers effective proposals based on customer needs that deliver value and solve their business needs using consultative selling methodology Ability to persuade decision makers of value presented in proposals and to close sales Has responsibility for customer satisfaction Manages effective transition of new customers for on-going account maintenance and growth Has a sustained record of sales achievement Has complete knowledge of organization's policies, products and/or services Analyzes records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations Interprets accounts, trends, competitive intelligence and records to management Ability to serve on committees or teams to develop large proposals Develops a team that will serve as a training resource for new sales employees Education Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience considered Work Experience Minimum 8+ years' documented track record in significant/complex consultative services-led sales engagements and multiparty negotiations with partners and Clients Knowledge and Skills Required Molding industry knowledge Able to negotiate contracts Possesses a strong financial and business acumen Strategic planning Presentation skills Excellent Communication skills Problem solving Travel Willing to travel as needed.
