Job Overview: As our Regional Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the manufacturer's representative sales force within your designated region. Your contributions will include: Identifying and recommending suitable manufacturer's representative organizations for Howard Industries. Monitoring and evaluating performance metrics. Acting as a liaison between manufacturer's representatives and various departments at Howard Industries. Providing dedicated inside support for marketing and sales initiatives. Collaborating with manufacturer's representatives in customer engagement activities, including visits, presentations, and entertainment. Responsibilities: Represent the company at industry meetings and trade shows. Welcome and host customers and manufacturer's representatives visiting our factory. Supervise the inside sales team within your region. Report directly to the Vice President of Marketing. Facilitate communication between customers, manufacturer's representatives, and all departments at Howard Industries. Anticipate travel for customer engagement in your assigned region at least 50% of the time. Expand and maintain the account base through maintenance and proactive prospecting via in-person visits, calls, and emails. Reestablish connections with previous customers to drive repeat business. Develop relationships with key executives and decision-makers. Close sales effectively while addressing customer objections. Consult with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Process quotes and special pricing requests in alignment with company policies. Conduct competitive reviews to improve customer retention and satisfaction. Follow up on customer inquiries to ensure high service standards. Integrate company marketing strategies into the sales process for a cohesive customer experience. Skills/Qualifications: Experience in outside sales or marketing. Ability to build and nurture relationships with customers. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and professional email communication. Possess a presentable, courteous, and engaging demeanor. Exhibit a strong sense of urgency. Demonstrate dedication, honesty, and self-motivation. Effectively manage time for optimal productivity.
