Distribution Associate

Job Description Performs diversified distribution duties supporting hospital material operations. Job Responsibility Picks and places supplies in delivery carts for distribution throughout hospital. Distributes supplies to various inventory locations throughout hospital, according to established policies and procedures. Receives and responds to requests from departments for miscellaneous required items. Maintains inventory levels in Material Operations department and at assigned inventory locations throughout hospital.Utilizes handheld scanner device to electronically record inventory levels. Maintains clean and safe work environment in department and at all inventory locations, according to established policies and procedures. Records daily activities by completing appropriate paperwork and/or entering information into department computer system. Performs related duties, as required. ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Prior related experience, preferred. Ability to perform data entry in department computer system, required. Ability to lift/carry material in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, lift and/or reach for extended periods of time. Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
