Position:IT Integration Project Manager Location:Merritt Island, FL Duration :6 month Contract-to-Hire Rate Range?:$55-70/hour Position Overview: Our client is a leading aerospace company that recently has secured a contract with the Department of Defense (DOD) to provide spacecraft and are now integrating all systems and processes into a unified structure. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative project that will streamline operations and enhance our capabilities. Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in mergers and acquisitions, large enterprise integrations, and migrations. The successful candidate will lead the integration of duplicated systems, manage changes in benefits and titles, and ensure seamless communication across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Project Management:Lead the integration of systems and processes, including SAP and email systems, into a unified structure. Stakeholder Communication:Understand user workflows and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including IT and business leaders. Project Planning:Develop and manage project plans, ensuring all workstreams are aligned and milestones are met. System Integration:Work with third-party integrators to migrate data from O365 to GCII in Microsoft, and manage the SAP migration. Change Management:Build communication strategies to assure users of the changes and provide support during the transition. Technical Support:Oversee the distribution of new computers to users in the legacy IT environment and populate Jira with relevant data. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Collaborate with IT to understand existing systems and pipeline projects. Map organizational structure and identify key stakeholders. Structure the project and manage workstreams. Ensure smooth migration of data and integration of systems. Maintain regular communication with project managers on the SAP and business sides. Must-Have Qualifications: 3-5 years of Project Management experience. Experience in large enterprise integrations, migrations, and/or mergers and acquisitions. Proficiency in Teams, O365, MS Project, and Jira. Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, and excellent communication abilities. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: ERP experience. Experience in the aerospace or defense industry, particularly with DOD projects.
