Job Location: Flowood, MS (Corporate Office) Job Description: The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the execution of medium to large-scale project plans to implement continuous improvements, enhancements and integrate acquired companies into Ergon's IT landscape. The IT Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions that align with business objectives delivering projects on time, to scope and within budget. These projects may require leading IT team members, representatives from business units and outside consultants. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for all project management documentation, management and escalation of issues, and producing timely status reports to review with project stakeholders. The IT Project Manager should possess strong leadership, communication, and time management skills. Project Manager Typical Duties: Typical duties may include, but not be limited to, the following: Serves as individual contributor on critical project activities. Leads or actively participates in meetings with internal departments and external partners. These meetings may include project kickoffs, status meetings, requirements gathering, testing and training sessions. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets. Manage projects including scope, quality, budget, risk, staff morale and customer satisfaction before, during and after project completion. Drives projects from conception to completion identifying and mitigating risks as needed to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure projects are executed according to established guidelines and standards. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, drive decisions and provide project updates. Foster positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment between IT initiatives and business goals. Lead cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project success. Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines. Conduct regular reviews and assessments with stakeholders to measure project performance. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation. Provide financial reporting and analysis related to project expenditures. Accountable to sponsor of project for delivery of overall results. Ensures team is offering quality work or services to organization and work plans align with the business strategy. Oversees or creates Statements of Work (SOW's) for internal customer sign-off. Other duties as assigned. Project Manager Qualifications: The following qualifications are required or preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of project management experience with IT software application implementations. Demonstrated ability to manage, execute, control, and achieve closure of complex projects. Experience with Organizational and Operational Change Management Experience with a variety of project management methodologies such as waterfall and agile. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Excellent planning and organization, project management and time management skills. Experience working with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira. Strong problem solving and negotiation abilities. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred. Experience working with projects in an SAP environment helpful.
