Program ManagerApplication Deadline: 7 April 2025 Department: Delivery Employment Type: Full Time Location: Denver, Colorado Description We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team at Lantern. The Program Manager plays a pivotal role in realizing revenue streams for our Studio. This is a multifaceted role encompassing: Delivery operations, reporting and communication and client relationships. The role collaborates with several other leaders within the Studio including Practice Leads, Delivery Management and Account Management. The role operates in large, key accounts often with multiple stakeholders and multiple commercial engagements. This role is client facing, often building key relationships within our client base. The primary objective of this role is to ensure we deliver a professional experience and our clients receive value from the solutions we commit to deliver. Anticipated travel for this role is less than 10%, with a mix of in-person team meetings and client visits. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Execution Deliver revenue streams as defined in Statement (s) of Work, by directly managing projects or leading Delivery Managers assigned to your program. Forecast revenue by accurately scheduling consulting resources as defined by booked commitments and objectives of Studio defined by the Delivery Studio Executive. Identify and manage variances from contract value across your program's portfolio of projects. Manage revenue leakage on an ongoing basis. Communication and Reporting Facilitate communication within consulting team to set priorities and understanding of expectations. Report delivery execution metrics to client as defined by client or by delivery innovation velocity guidelines. Report to Studio management. Provide regular updates on Program status, key metrics and risks / issues. Delivery Leadership Partner with Practice Leads to ensure efficient mobilization of resources. Partner with Practice Leads to ensure high quality delivery. Partner with Practice Leads to resolve consultant issues. Establish and review project and capacity plans with Practice Leads and Delivery Management. Oversee a backlog of work, prioritized by the client, to meet project and capacity plan goals. Optimize staffing, workforce planning, and utilization management, including working with other members in delivery to resolve resource conflicts. Account Management and Sales Support Assist the Account Executive with developing Account Management Plans. Assist the Account Executive with client communications. Partner with Account Executives on expanding existing engagement or growing into other areas within a client. Client Relationships Build and maintain a productive relationship with the client. Act as a primary point of communication with the client throughout program execution, including financial status reporting. Work with client to set priorities for our consulting team. Manage client expectations for program execution. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong consulting skills gained through experience in a consulting organization, preferably in technology. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Equally comfortable communicating across a broad spectrum of individuals, from technical staff to C-level executives. Proven track record of managing a portfolio of diverse initiatives at a client, balancing budget, schedule and resource demands to the overall satisfaction of the client and financial success of the program. Experience in all phases of product, software, and testing lifecycles. Able to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams. Solid knowledge and practical experience in software delivery: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall. Proficient user of modern workplace tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft Office and Power BI. Position Metrics Capacity Plan Variances within expected Delivery Studio Executive boundaries Managed Services variances within expected boundaries Forecasted revenue accurately reflects booked backlog approved variances Billable hours to forecasted hours weekly variance within expected variances Resource utilization within the guidelines of Leadership Team Client and team member satisfaction survey results Required Technical Skills Applicant will have the following skills: Technically competent with modern workplace tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft Office and Power BI. Experience in lightweight project management tools such as Planner or Microsoft Project. Experience or ability to quickly pick up the ability to help manage a backlog of work in Azure DevOps, Asana, Jira or similar tool. While this position is not a technical contributor role, it is desirable for the candidate to have some background in Microsoft technologies from one or more of the following practices: Modern Work (SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Co-Pilot) Business Analytics (Power BI, Fabric) Data Platform (Azure Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory) Low Code (Power Apps, Power Automate, Nintex) Intelligent Applications (custom applications) Cloud Infrastructure (Azure)
