The Floor Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts, overseeing the dining room operations, and maintaining high standards of hospitality and service at BeyBey. This role demands strong leadership skills, a passion for guest experience, and the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of front-of-house staff. The Floor Manager works closely with other managers and team members to create a seamless dining experience that aligns with BeyBey's brand and standards. Experience in fine dining or establishments recognized by World's 50 Best, Bib Gourmands, or Michelin-starred restaurants is preferred. Essential Functions: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house staff to ensure excellent guest service. Maintain a visible presence on the floor to monitor service quality, handle guest inquiries, and resolve issues promptly. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times. Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, VIP guests, and service expectations. Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure a seamless flow of service. Oversee table assignments, waitlists, and reservations to optimize table turnover without compromising guest experience. Manage guest complaints with professionalism, providing immediate resolution and follow-up. Support hiring, training, and continuous development of front-of-house staff, ensuring high levels of product knowledge and service skills. Implement and monitor service standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Assist with scheduling and labor cost management to maintain budget targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Uphold company policies, service standards, and ensure a positive work environment. Monitor and manage inventory levels of service-related supplies and equipment. Assist in the planning and execution of private events and special promotions. Key Qualifications: Experience in fine dining or establishments recognized by World's 50 Best, Bib Gourmands, or Michelin-starred restaurants is preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Floor Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems. Knowledge of wines, cocktails, and premium service standards Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours). Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, and navigating a busy dining area.
