Automotive Used Cars Technician

CAPITAL is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Used Cars Technician to join our automotive service team. The Used Cars Technician will play a crucial role in inspecting, diagnosing, and performing maintenance and repairs on pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to ensure the reliability and performance of used vehicles.Automotive Used Cars Technician Compensation and Benefits:    Competitive Pay    Health Insurance   PTO  401(K)    Automotive Used Cars Technician Responsibilities:    Conduct thorough inspections of used vehicles to assess overall conditionIdentify and document any mechanical, electrical, or safety issuesUtilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issuesPerform comprehensive diagnostics on engine, transmission, brakes, and other vehicle systemsPerform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspectionsPerform quality control checks to ensure that repairs meet or exceed industry standardsOther duties assigned    Automotive Used Cars Technician Requirements:    Technical or vocational training in automotive technology is preferredProven experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on used vehicle maintenance and repairsASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are highly desirableIn-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systemsFlexibility to handle a variety of vehicle modelsWillingness to share knowledge and mentor junior techniciansAdherence to safety regulations and guidelinesMust pass pre-employment background screenings  WE ARE CAPITAL!With 20 automotive and powersports franchises and over 1,500 employees, CAPITAL is more than a company - it's a community.
