Upscale French Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to oversee our daily operations . Our ideal candidate has at least five years of industry experience, including supervisory roles, and is reliable and trustworthy. Primary Responsibilities: Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff Create employee schedules to always ensure adequate staffing Handle paperwork and other administrative duties Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing food and beverage education Ensure that the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and licensing regulations Handle complaints, conflicts, questions, and suggestions from restaurant patrons and employees Oversee menu changes and update POS systems Oversee payroll and HR procedures for location Oversee front door and maintain relationships with guests Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of experience in a restaurant with at least 2 years in supervisory roles Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Able to stand for extended periods Flexible schedule Hold a current Food Handler's license or must obtain within a month of hire Languages: French and Italian (highly preferred) Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Medical b enefits Great opportunities for growth Compensation Details: Salary ( $ 75,000-$80,000 ) *** WEEKEND AVAILABILITY NEEDED "¨ *** EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Le Bilboquet provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type with respect to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
