Job Posting: Lead Line Cook at With Others Wine Bar Position: Lead Line Cook Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn Job Type: 3-4 days per week required Kitchen Hours: Wednesday - Saturday: 5 PM - 10 PM Sunday: 5 PM - 9 PM Compensation: $22 - $26 per hour (dependent on experience) About Us With Others is an elevated yet casual neighborhood wine bar in Williamsburg. Our food program is seasonal and ever-evolving , featuring small plates that complement our selection of small-production, low-impact wines. We focus on sourcing high-quality, locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that reflect the changing seasons. We also regularly host guest chefs and pop-ups , bringing fresh perspectives and unique dishes into our kitchen. This means that flexibility is key, as menus may shift, and you'll have the opportunity to work alongside some incredible talent. Job Description: As a Lead Line Cook at With Others, you will play a key role in executing our seasonal menu and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Beyond cooking, this role requires experience in creating recipes, organizing kitchen orders, and managing prep workflows to maintain consistency and efficiency. You will work closely with the Chef de Cuisine, guest chefs, and the kitchen team to uphold our high standards of quality, creativity, and execution. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards Assist in developing new recipes and refining existing ones Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen ordering system , ensuring proper stock levels and timely ingredient procurement Adapt to guest chef collaborations and pop-up menus , learning and executing new dishes as needed Work efficiently to execute a seamless service Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with DOH standards Assist with daily prep work and ingredient preparation Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation during service Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop menu items and improve workflow Required Skills Knife skills Prepping ingredients Attention to detail Positive attitude Safety and sanitation knowledge Plating and presentation skills Time management Experience in recipe development and kitchen organization Flexibility and adaptability to work with guest chefs and pop-ups Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Lead Line Cook or experienced Line Cook in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented environment Experience with inventory management, ordering, and ingredient costing is a plus Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high culinary standards Excited about working in a creative kitchen where menus evolve and guest chefs bring new experiences DOH certification is a huge plus This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a kitchen that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and learning.
