We value our employees and invest in their success.The Autobarn Volvo Cars Oak Park is seeking a Part-Time Porter / Car Washer to make sure vehicle flow is running smoothly in our fast-paced dealership. We offer: $15 per hour. Morning to Mid-Afternoon No work on Sundays! State-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility Advancement opportunities - we promote from within Duties include: Washing/Detailing customers' vehicles and new car deliveries. Responsible for moving cars as necessary to assist our clients and staff. Retrieve customer vehicles from the lot Arrange inventory and maintain the lot in a neat and organized manner Manage the flow of traffic Maintain parking lots in a neat and organized manner Keeping the shop, bathrooms, and customer areas clean Keeping the outside grounds clean Run errands at the request of management Other duties may be assigned Job Requirements: Must be friendly and courteous and able to work with others Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills Positive attitude and well-groomed appearance Ability to work outdoors and be physically active for extended periods of time Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident Applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
