LHH is seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and strategic guidance to executives, management, and our clients' contracts team. This position will focus on a range of legal matters related to technology, infrastructure, and vendor agreements, with a strong emphasis on vendor negotiations and procurement. If you have a background in technology transactions, vendor agreements, and a solid understanding of business, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Legal Advising: Provide day-to-day legal advice to business partners working on new and existing technology, infrastructure, and compliance matters. Contract Structuring & Negotiation: Structure, draft, and negotiate various technology contracts with vendors and strategic partners, including software licenses, hardware purchases, professional services agreements, consulting agreements, reseller agreements, and outsourcing agreements. Corporate Support: Advise and support the Company/u2019s merchant acquiring product teams and corporate functions, including finance, accounting, business technology services, and credit/risk teams. General Corporate Work: Handle other general corporate matters as necessary. Vendor Agreement Negotiations: Support vendor agreement negotiations, with an emphasis on procurement. Qualifications: Education: Law degree from a top law school preferred. Experience: Experience with technology transactions, product counseling, and vendor agreements. Experience advising corporate clients and managing complex legal matters. Familiarity with laws and regulations applicable to payment or financial services providers. Procurement experience is highly preferred. Experience with corporate shared services (finance, accounting, HR, operations) is a plus. Experience with AMLaw 100 firms is a plus, but not required. Required Skills: Strong experience in negotiating and drafting technology contracts and agreements. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad range of legal matters. Sound business judgment and ability to relate legal advice to business goals and objectives. Additional Details: This is a contract position expected to last through 2025, with the potential for extension. Hybrid work: 2 days onsite in Atlanta or fully remote if not located in the area.
