Title: Data Analyst I - Enterprise Software Support Location: Marlborough, MA 01752 Duration: Full-time Note: Accepting US Citizen or Green Card Holder or GC-EAD or H4EAD only Summary: The Information Technology Department manages the infrastructure that drives the organization's technology-based business solutions. These are in support of the Headquarters in Long Island City, NY and approximately 20 administrative and logistics locations in the Americas and Asia. The Data Analyst I - Enterprise Software Support provides business intelligence solutions, via platforms like Power BI and Phocas, to internal stakeholders. Provides robust understanding of data architectures, table structures, and marrying data from different sources to provide key decision making capabilities to company management and other invested parties. Strong knowledge of SQL and other databases, including MultiValue databases. Database and dataset management and optimization will be leveraged to deliver successful business results. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support Power Bi reports including for ERP and connected services. Meet with stakeholders and translate their challenges regarding data analysis to support their discussions into actionable live dashboards and point-in-time reports. Use Excel and PowerPivot and Power Query to mock-up/model full, robust dashboards for larger data sets. Also, for providing quick solutions for appropriately scoped tasks. Act as the IT Department's dedicated business intelligence liaison for internal stakeholders and help translate requests for data insight from the business to fellow IT team members. Join data from disparate sources, potentially including public sources such as US Census Bureau data and others from data.gov and others. Manage, organize and optimize databases and related data structures and sources. Keep all associated stakeholders fully informed by collecting, organizing, and appropriately distributing information such as meeting minutes, design concepts, approval/rejections of applicable action items, project stages, and generally collect and organize feedback from business stakeholders into useful documents. Create and maintain robust documentation for dashboards and liaise with and guide stakeholders on how to use developed BI dashboard solutions. Good understanding of relationship between measures, targets, data sources, performance indicators, key performance indicators and reporting frequency. Some exposure to Android and iOS as they are used for the company's warehouse barcode scan guns. Qualifications: Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and some experience with Phocas BI and FP&A desired. Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong working knowledge of databases, particularly SQL and other relational databases and database design, data migration/transformation, and some database administration and optimization. Experience with ERP, CRM and eCommerce. Knowledge of MultiValue and other NoSQL databases are a major plus. Robust understanding of ETL. Preferred additional technology exposure: SharePoint, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office365, Power Platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate in a business intelligence role. Knowledge and experience with customer service best practices. Work with supply chain, warehouse management, or transportation business domains is a plus. Exposure to Android and iOS used for warehouse scan guns is a major plus. Fluent English skills, written and verbal. Dependable means of transportation. Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in technology, data analytics, or related field and/or previous equivalent job experience.
