JOB-RELATED DUTIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: RESIDENTIAL SERVICES Ensure residents receive quality and appropriate services per organizational principles and program requirements. Ensure Social Service unit executes residential services properly and on schedule. Develop and maintain a resource network of external providers and organizations that offer support and direct services. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT Ensure compliance with funding contracts and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Evaluate program performance and develop enhancement strategies for underperforming areas. Ensure staff are properly trained and certified per OTDA and DHS rules. FACILITIES MANAGEMENT Ensure facility is code compliant with HPD, DOB, DHS, DOHMH, and OTDA. Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy residential environment for residents. SUPERVISION and GENERAL DUTIES Conduct 1 to 1 meetings with team members and update performance goals. Troubleshoot difficult resident cases and document interactions. Qualifications: What do I need to apply? Education and Experience: Master's Degree in Social Work or similar field required. Combination of five years of experience in social services with at least three years of supervisory experience. Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English required, multi-lingual and Spanish proficiency prioritized. Computer skills: Professional competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet. Other Skills and Experience: Extensive experience working with homeless individuals and managing programs.
