What You'll Do: Analyze and interpret complex government grant agreements, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Track expenditures and prepare accurate, detailed invoices for government funding agencies. Monitor grant budgets, flag variances, and collaborate with teams to resolve them. Stay ahead of government grant regulations and reporting requirements to maintain compliance. Partner with program staff to translate program activities into financial reports that tell a compelling story of impact. Support grant audits with meticulous record-keeping and responsive communication. Your Background & Skills: Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred). Experience:2+ years in government grant accounting or a related field; familiarity with government grant regulations like Uniform Guidance. Skills:Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups), analytical problem-solving, and collaboration.
