Position Overview This position will be based in Las Vegas, Nevada, at our client’s corporate headquarters. Relocation assistance is available for highly qualified candidates. The Vice President of Finance and Development will be responsible for leading all aspects of casino and gaming real estate acquisitions, government licensing, regulatory compliance, and strategic business development. This executive will play a pivotal role in asset management, mergers & acquisitions, and securing new business opportunities through partnerships, RFPs, and government relations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in closing major gaming real estate deals, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with gaming and SEC regulations. Key Responsibilities Asset Management: Optimize the company’s real estate and gaming assets to maximize returns and support long-term strategic objectives. Business Development: Identify and pursue new gaming opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand the company’s market presence. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions to enhance the company’s portfolio. Gaming Licensing & Regulatory Compliance: Oversee gaming license applications, renewals, and compliance to ensure adherence to state, federal, and tribal regulations. SEC Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all financial reporting and disclosures comply with SEC regulations and corporate governance requirements. Request for Proposals (RFPs): Lead the preparation and submission of RFPs for new gaming projects and partnerships, securing new growth opportunities. Government Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, policymakers, and government officials to advocate for the company’s interests and secure necessary approvals. Finance & Risk Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis, ensuring risk is effectively managed across all development initiatives. Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience in casino development, real estate acquisitions, and government relations within the gaming industry. Proven expertise in asset management within the gaming, hospitality, or real estate sectors. Strong background in M&A, including evaluating and negotiating high-value transactions in gaming and hospitality. Comprehensive knowledge of gaming licensing processes and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Experience with SEC regulatory requirements and financial disclosures within publicly traded gaming or hospitality companies. Demonstrated ability to secure RFP wins and negotiate strategic partnerships. Established government relations network, with experience working on lobbying efforts and regulatory approvals. Excellent financial acumen, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment. MBA, JD, or relevant advanced degree preferred; experience with corporate finance, real estate law, or investment banking is a plus. Why Join Us?
