Warehouse Laborer II - Inventory Control 7am-3:30pm

Description Warehouse Laborer is responsible for completing delegated tasks and handling finished goods with dedication and proficiency to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on position that includes proper handling of inventory, storage, record keeping of product while adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures. This position will also maintain department records for inventory, yields, tracking, shipping and receiving orders. Receive Assignment From: Warehouse Supervisor Warehouse Operations Supervisor Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Warehouse Laborer II - Inventory Control will be responsible for performing a variety of duties that will include but are not limited to the following: * Contributes to and follows operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments and keeping warehouse inventory current. * Confers with leadership to ensure coordination of inventory activities and other functions * Maintains material in a First In First Out basis (FIFO) * Complies with all legal and safety procedures * Maintains files for all incoming and outgoing shipments. * Physical inventory counts and cycle count workloads * Maintains tidiness and cleanliness standards of the warehouse * Organizes the stocking and proper storage of materials * Coordinates work functions with co-workers * Reports inventory discrepancies and product damage to Supervisor * Conducts pre-shift regular checks and maintenance of warehouse machinery Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. * Ability to use an RF scanner. * Ability to work in SAP, or other WMS systems * Ability to competently and effectively manage time and complete assigned work * Ability to work in all weather, indoor and outdoor environments * Work as a team player and have the ability to coordinate with fellow workers * Ability to use warehouse equipment (Forklift certification a plus) * Ability to communicate and collaborate with all internal departments as required * Ability to manage in a highly stressful fast pace environment.
