Responsibilities Analyzes and codes multi-specialty profee surgery cases performed in the OR (including but not limited to: General Surgery, Plastics, Ortho, Neurosurgery, and Otolaryngology) by reviewing documentation and confirming coding is in compliance with regulatory standards. Identifies trends/problems in medical documentation and recommends possible solutions. Assists with billing and documentation in daily interaction with physicians regarding various inquiries relating to CPT and ICD-10 coding. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience. One of the following: Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) or CCS--Physician-based (CCS-P). 5 years of CPT and Diagnostic coding experience in a healthcare provider or a third party payer setting. Clinical knowledge preferred. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
