Trusted Resource Underwriters Exchange ("TRUE") is a reciprocal insurer originally established by American Family in 2020 to serve homeowners in storm-prone regions of Florida and other parts of the country. At the end of 2023, Gallatin Point Capital acquired a majority stake in the attorney-in-fact for TRUE and raised over $1.25 billion of committed capital, enabling TRUE to not only provide more underwriting capacity in Florida, but also allow it to strategically expand its homeowners product offering and footprint nationally. TRUE utilizes a partnership distribution model through new and existing partnerships as it enters a new phase of exciting growth. American Family remains a minority owner in the attorney-in-fact and continues to provide distribution and client services on behalf of TRUE. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Digital Product Owner to oversee strategic partner initiatives and drive the development of innovative digital experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of digital product strategy, API integrations, and the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams. As the Digital Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading the product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and partner needs. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with strategic partners, ensuring alignment on digital product goals and objectives. Serve as the main point of contact for partners, driving communication, collaboration, and issue resolution. Digital Experience Strategy: Lead the development and execution of digital product strategies that enhance customer experiences across web, mobile, and other digital channels. Through prior UX/UI design and implementation experience, ensure the delivery of seamless and intuitive user experiences. API and Integration Management: Work with technology teams to design and implement API integrations that enable efficient data exchange and service delivery between internal systems and partner systems. Understand and advocate for the technical capabilities of APIs and their impact on the product. Business and Technology Collaboration: Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring both sides are aligned on product goals, timelines, and delivery. Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories. Roadmap Management: Participate in development and maintenance of a product roadmap that reflects strategic priorities and ensures that both internal and partner requirements are met. Prioritize features and initiatives based on business value and technical feasibility. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from planning and development to testing, launch, and ongoing optimization. Ensure that products are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. Metrics and Continuous Improvement: Define success metrics for product initiatives and monitor performance post-launch. Identify opportunities for optimization and iterate on features to improve user engagement and business outcomes. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate product progress, challenges, and successes to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, partners, and internal teams. Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of experience in a digital product management role, with a focus on managing strategic partnerships, digital experience, and API integrations. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of digital product development, APIs, and how they integrate into broader digital ecosystems. 2+ years experience with agile methodologies. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage and negotiate with external partners and internal stakeholders at all levels. Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, technology teams, UX/UI designers, and external partners. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of making data-driven decisions to solve complex challenges. Education: A degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience with API management tools or platforms. Familiarity with customer experience (CX) frameworks and best practices. Knowledge of cloud services, digital platforms, and data privacy regulations.
