The Role Trade is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with expertise in Shopify to join our Engineering team. As a senior member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Trade's technical direction and delivering high-impact solutions across the entire stack. You'll collaborate with team members across Engineering, Product, and Design to enhance user experiences; optimize backend systems; and build scalable, maintainable infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of critical initiatives that advance Trade's position as the premier online destination for the at-home coffee market. Architect and implement new features on our Shopify platform, focusing on customer experiences like onboarding, search, AI-driven quizzes, and checkout flows. Build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for eCommerce operations such as inventory management, order processing, and personalization. Ensure seamless data integration across third-party platforms, internal tools, and analytics pipelines. Mentor and guide other engineers to foster technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy solutions aligned with business goals. Optimize the development pipeline by introducing and maintaining best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring. You Have... 5+ years of experience in full-stack engineering within an eCommerce environment with a focus on Shopify development. Expertise in frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React and backend tools such as Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs. Experience developing custom Shopify apps and working with Liquid templates. A strong understanding of frontend and backend architecture for scalable applications. A track record of delivering complex, full-stack projects within Agile or Scrum frameworks. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging and performance improvements. Experience mentoring engineers and enhancing development processes. A history of collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to achieve goals.
