A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams. Job Description Coordinate overall company efforts to ensure continuous high service levels by efficiently and profitably managing, serving and growing designated multi-concepts. Interfaces with all levels of customers, support services and suppliers. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best service the company. Managers customer relationships by developing regular communications with key customer personnel. Responds promptly to all complaints from customer and follow up to ensure problem resolution. Act as a liaison between customer and company to work out details regarding services, products and problems. Attend customer functions, industry retreats, etc. in an effort to secure positive relations with the customer. Communicate and coordinate as the primary channel of communication between headquarters and purchasing, information services and accounting departments. Promote customer profitability by working with account managers to retain and grow accounts and maintain profitability. This may include, but is not limited to, managing dead and slow inventory, accounts receivable/deposits, unrealistic service requests and balanced loads, etc Inventory management by working with brokers and supplier reps to keep up with the customer's needs. Work with purchasing to ensure products needed to service multi-unit customers are ordered timely.
