About the Opportunity:• Job Title: Digital Print Operator 2• Pay Rate Range: $17.50-21/Hour• Location: Shakopee, MN• Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7:30AM-3:30PM with optional O/T.• Position Type: Temp to HireDigital Print Operator 2 Requirements and Qualifications:Technically sound with strong knowledge of how computers, digital front ends (DFE's) and other software that is used to create and print files on a digital printing press. Previous experience running digital equipment such as Xerox, HP, Kodak, Cannon, or other digital print devices. Ability to work in fast paced environments with tight turn times and schedules. Strong mechanical aptitude to make basic repairs or adjustments on the equipment as needed and have a basic understanding of how the printing process works. Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment. Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment. Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent. Lifting 45lbs. Standing for long durations of time. Use hands and fingers to lift and reach. Digital Print Operator 2 Duties and Responsibilities:Operate inkjet, laser, xerographic or offset duplicating printers. RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing. Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests. Setup, program, and release jobs from print queue. May adjust image position, perforations, and folds on paper. Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality. Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs, and other items as needed.
