Base pay range $300,000.00/yr - $500,000.00/yr Our client is a mature FinTech Start-up seeking to add a Head of (Tech) Recruiter / Bus Dev Specialist. This role will be responsible for the firm's Human Capital Markets growth, with plans to add 20-30 Senior Technologists/Engineers/and Data Scientists in 2025. This is a perfect opportunity for a Senior Recruiter who has a proven track record of effectively recruiting Engineers/Quants/and top-tier Data Scientists within Alternative Investments, Financial Sector, Tech Firms, competitors, and/or Big (Tech) Data Firms. The ideal individual must be a true thought leader who embraces challenges with a decisive solution-oriented approach. Essential Functions: Execute and oversee Data Science/Engineers and Quant Research talent searches across the firm, proactively building a pipeline of candidates for succession planning. Manage strategic direction and execution of firmwide talent programs that focus on cultivating, engaging, and developing future leaders. Develop, implement, and coordinate targeted sourcing strategies to engage with active and passive talent. Leverage recruiting data to prepare ongoing recruiting updates for hiring managers. Serve as a trusted partner, advising leadership and employees at all levels on talent matters, including performance, career development, and organizational culture. Oversee new business development efforts across the fund, including but not limited to sourcing, vetting, and procuring new talent for the firm. Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, providing insights for continuous improvement in the recruitment process. Manage and mentor junior members of internal sourcing and recruiting teams. Develop and optimize workflows and processes to meet KPIs, maximizing the recruitment team's success and efficiency. Create standardized technical and behavioral assessments in the screening and interview process to test for certain skills, resulting in more qualified and interested candidates. Develop market intelligence analytics reports of competing firms. Drive the use of analytics related to market trends, including industry and benchmarking reports, to inform strategic decisions, workforce planning, and promotion criteria. Responsible for sourcing and vetting top talent from creative arenas. Communicate news and vital information to senior stakeholders. Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Manage the recruitment process: post ads on recruitment & professional websites; track, schedule, and communicate with all applicants. Manage employee referral process including background checks, orientation, benefits enrollment, and employee engagement. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; a minimum of 5+ years related technical recruiting professional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior tech/start-up experience required. Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and applicable federal and state laws. Familiar with laws and regulations associated with industry non-competes. Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to listen effectively. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
