Tax Manager

OCR Alpha are currently partnering with a prestigious global multi-strategy hedge fund who are looking to expand their Tax team due to continued growth. This firm manage more than $10bn and are considered one of, if not the best tier 1 hedge fund to join due to a down to earth and positive culture. This role will work directly with their global Head of Tax on a broad role. It will work on the preparation and review of partnership and corporate tax returns, work with external accounting firms to prepare tax across jurisdictions and also work with the most senior members of the firm on their tax queries and effectively managing their tax. On top of the BAU work, this role will be strategic in nature, helping to design and improve internal controls and policies as well as ensuring tax compliance across several jurisdictions. They are looking for a Big 4 accountant who works in tax with between 2-8 years experience due to team structure. CPA or CTA qualifications are helpful, but not a requirement for this one.
