Salary Range: $158,830 - 196,000 Annually POSITION SUMMARY: The Planning and Integration Director has overall responsibility for Vigor Works PME Process and oversees all PME functions to ensure process compliance. This position provides process implementation, planning and process oversight, training and mentorship within the Complex Fabrication and Marine Division's, establishing a coherent PMP strategy that is consistent with strategic business objectives and continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Program Planning and Controls Production scheduling and Work Package Development Process implementation across all VIGOR Works programs, departments and functions Master Scheduling Development of Integrated Master Schedules and the maintenance and performance reporting against those schedules Interface Controls Development, maintenance and implementation of interface control documents for internal and external interfaces Program performance reporting, metrics development and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Support program implementation, and changes as needed by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including nonconformance reporting, and quarterly executive reporting Prepare weekly Project performance reports for review with executives, quarterly trend analysis and annual reports to drive continuous improvements within the Program Office Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM) Oversight of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) development and delivery Oversight of the development of configuration baselines as well as maintenance of that baseline Oversight of the implementation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) Requirements Management Development and maintenance of program requirements Development of derived requirements Flow down of requirements to the program team Ensure all requirements, to include test and selloff requirements, are being met by the technical baseline Be a mentor of PME processes to Vigor employees Partner with Quality personnel in the sustainment of Process control (Authoring and internal audits of Processes), Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), Process Improvement and Training Participate in the weekly Corrective Action Review Group (CARG) SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: The position directly manages up to 10 subordinates. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to proactively plan, communicate and track progress towards goals and milestones Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and employees The ability to apply critical thinking while scheduling activities, resolving problems, performing root-cause analysis and measuring quality performance throughout each project the organization may be producing Computer Skills - Mastery of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project and Primavera P6 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a related technical field required. Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in Project Management, Systems Engineering and/or Program Scheduling PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The person may be required to be in production areas at times. He/she must be able to walk to and from job sites. There may be local travel up to 10% of the time and out-of-town travel (including air travel) up to 5% of the time with notice. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires that the successful candidate work onsite 5 days per week. CITIZENSHIP: Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.
