Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Please note: This role is in-office at IntelliShift's Commack, NY headquarters. Position Overview: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Human Resources will play a key role in shaping our people strategy, overseeing talent management, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. This individual will partner with leadership to drive a strong company culture, improve employee experience, and optimize HR systems and policies. The role will have one direct report, an HR Generalist, who manages the relationship with ADP Total Source PEO, the full payroll process, and other related tasks. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and employee engagement. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters, including workforce planning and organizational development. Foster a high-performance culture that aligns with company values and goals. Manage OKR program that was established by the ELT. Talent Acquisition & Retention: Partner with hiring managers to enhance recruiting processes, ensuring seamless candidate experience. Use LinkedIn Recruiter to source candidates for open roles. Develop initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent, including career pathing and succession planning. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to create a positive employee journey. Lead performance review process. Employee Relations & Culture: Act as a resource for managers and employees, providing guidance on workplace policies, conflict resolution, and performance management. Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, morale, and recognition including eNPS. HR Operations & Compliance: Manage and maintain HR systems (ADP, Fidelity, Egencia, Ramp, Workable). Serve as a liaison with the PEO, ensuring HR's ownership of payroll integrity, compliance, and process improvements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness in the market. Partner with Finance on HR budgeting, headcount planning, and various reporting needs. Manage 401(k) audit and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations and fiduciary responsibilities. Oversee payroll processes in collaboration with the HR Generalist and ADP Total Source, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. HR Technology & Process Improvement: Optimize the use of HR technology and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Analyze HR data and trends to inform decision-making and workforce planning. Oversee performance review cycles and professional development programs. Qualifications: 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR systems. Experience in a SaaS or tech environment preferred. Proven ability to develop and execute people strategies that drive business results. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy with execution.
