Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 Days In, 2 Days Remote) About the Role: A prestigious commercial litigation firm is seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Attorney with real estate litigation experience to join a highly regarded team. Key Responsibilities: Real Estate Litigation: Represent clients in complex commercial litigation with a focus on real estate-related disputes. Courtroom & Motion Practice: Manage various stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, handling motions, and managing discovery (including e-discovery). Legal Research & Writing: Prepare polished, professional legal documents with a high standard of written advocacy. Case Strategy & Client Representation: Participate in litigation strategy, arbitration, and mediation while directly engaging with clients. Collaboration & Leadership: Work within a team-focused, fast-paced environment while maintaining the ability to work independently. Education: JD from an accredited law school; Law Review or Journal experience preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of New York civil procedure and litigation strategy. Writing & Research Excellence: Exceptional ability to draft, review, and edit motions, pleadings, and legal documents. Interpersonal & Advocacy Skills: Strong courtroom presence, effective communication, and a team-oriented mindset.
