Responsibilities Actively manage, communicate, and market the enterprise infrastructure platform strategy and intent via creation and maintenance of reference architectures, architecture blueprints, roadmaps and executive presentations. Lead the analysis and design of cloud-based infrastructure solutions with forward-thinking strategies around automation, connectivity, security, monitoring, and operational controls. Promote the convergence of infrastructure and technologies towards a rationalized set of cloud-enabled core platforms to improve agility, optimize costs and remove duplication. Partner and collaborate with domain architects to define and oversee all aspects of architecture, design, techniques, and technologies for core infrastructure services. Inform business and IT leaders of opportunities and constraints presented by the organization's current state and target state through capability maturity and IT service and technology health assessments. Align the infrastructure architecture with the company's business goals and objectives by directly influencing the company's strategic investment plan. Develop policies, standards, guidelines, and reference implementations that direct the selection, development, implementation, and use of Information Technology within the enterprise. Guide and coach the organization on fit-for-purpose practices, patterns, solutions, and technology. Collaborate with leaders, architects, developers, and engineers to develop overall solutions, including option analysis and trade-offs that properly balance both IT and business constraints. Govern architecturally significant work, aligning it with business and IT strategies, through architectural reviews, solution architecture, and technical architecture collaboration. Lead and support technology innovations and architecture initiatives to enable superior business outcomes. Work with vendors and do independent research to architect and design state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure platforms. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required. 10 years of overall IT experience with 5 years of direct experience working as an IT Architect. 5 years of experience in design, development, and implementation of solutions at an enterprise level. Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in MIS or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience in Healthcare (PBM). Formal Enterprise Architecture training and certification. Experience with Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare vCloud, VMWare NSX, Cisco ACI, and Google Cloud Platform. One or more professional cloud computing certifications. Experience modeling Enterprise Architectures with industry-standard modeling notation.
