Description The SSC/BZ Application Support Administrator & Knowledge Manager provides essential support to the Space Systems Command (SSC), specifically within the Space Systems Integration Office (SSC/BZ). This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing a suite of SSC/BZ applications and processes, as well as delivering comprehensive knowledge management services. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across the Directorate, offering email, phone, and in-person assistance to ensure smooth and efficient operation of SSC/BZ Enterprise Information Systems (EIS). Key Responsibilities: Application Maintenance & Enhancement Maintain and enhance multiple SSC/BZ websites (SharePoint and Livelink). Develop, implement, and refine processes for various dashboards (e.g., IT Shop Dashboard, TCO Dashboard, IT Facility Dashboard). Update and manage BZ Official File Plan processes. Oversee the inventory database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Knowledge Management Provide knowledge management support for SSC/BZ, including information organization, file plan implementation, and best practices for content management. Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures to maintain information security and data integrity. User Support Offer helpdesk-style support to Directorate personnel via email, phone, and in-person consultations. Troubleshoot issues related to SSC/BZ EIS applications, escalating complex problems when necessary. Conduct user training sessions and create documentation for new features, processes, and best practices. Process Development & Optimization Continually evaluate and improve existing processes, including: BZ RFI (Request for Information) Process; BZ Relocation Process; BZ CTA (Cross-Technical Area) Lessons Learned Process; "What's the Buzz" Dashboard; BZ All Call Dashboard; BZ PA Media Query Process; BZ PA Security & Policy Review Process; BZ C2 Summit Registration Process; BZ Integrated Prevention Registration Process; HVA C2 Integration Workshop Registration; and Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, streamline workflows, and implement process enhancements. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with SSC/BZ leadership, IT teams, and other stakeholders to align applications and processes with organizational goals. Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with the overall mission. Requirements Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain one). Knowledge Management Expertise: Must meet the DoD Knowledge Manager (Intermediate or Advanced) requirements as outlined by the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework . Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from either an ABET-accredited or National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) designated institution. Training: Demonstrated proficiency or formal training in SharePoint (administration, development, or user support).
