Barista

Rosemary's is accepting applications for the Barista position.  The Barista will be a key member of the team - providing a great, consistent experience for our neighborhood guests on a daily basis. They will be knowledgeable about all menu items and provide high-quality, fast-paced customer service. • Prepares and serves authentic Italian espresso and coffee drinks, including coffee art • Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation description upon request • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and products • Cleans/Sanitize work areas, organized and compliant with Department of Health standards Qualifications: • Previous barista experience on a manual espresso machine preferred • Experience creating latte art • Obsessed with creating a fantastic guest experience everytime! • Dexterity for rapid and consistent espresso creation • Cash Handling and POS experiene • Great communication skills in order to maintain interpersonal relations with co-workers and guests   ** Casa Nela offers great benefits for our FOH staff including: Medical/Dental and Vision Insurance (for full time employees), Transit Benefit Program, an Employee Dining Program, Referral Bonus Program, and opportunities for growth within our organization.    ABOUT: Casa Nela is a collection of European influenced NYC restaurants including Rosemary's, Claudette, Bobo, and Roey's.
