The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for managing material logistics in the Lightower central warehouse, ensuring timely processing of inventory and maintaining stock for deliveries across multiple regions (LA, IE, OC, SD). This role involves physically handling inventory, processing materials, and performing cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels. Key Responsibilities: Receive and process inventory and non-inventory items, ensuring accurate entry into the Oracle accounting system. Resolve discrepancies between receipts and invoices with Accounts Payable (AP). Process and track shipments via shipping vendors' online portals (UPS/FedEx). Issue inventory items to projects and maintain proper allocation in the system. Perform periodic cycle counts and physical inventory (PI) checks. Create and maintain BIN designations for inventory storage. Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve conflicts related to material receipts. Job Knowledge: Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record. Ability to travel within the Lightower footprint as needed. Ability to lift packages ranging from 25-70 lbs. OSHA Fork Truck training is a plus. Experience/Education: High school diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in warehouse or purchasing environments. Experience in inventory management within the Telecommunications/ISP/Fiber Optic industry. Proficient in MS Office, data entry, and Oracle. Familiar with vendor online portals and shipping software (UPS/FedEx). This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and physical capability to manage inventory and shipments.
